1.They are one with water;
the answer to how to stay thin is at the bottom of the jug of water
2.They are always moving their bodies;
they take the stairs and exercise at least four days a week. Yoga, dance and kickboxing are some of their hobbies
3.They care less about dieting;
they realize all they need to do is swap out junk/processed foods with foods with greater nutritional values.
4.They use coffee as an occasional treat-not a lifeline.
Never underestimate the damage too much caffeine does to your body in terms of digestive issues, anxiety and insomnia. Dialing it back is hard I know, just minimize it to two days a week and replace the other days with tea.
5.Their mental heath comes before anything else.
Maneuver your bad days by nursing yourself back to health before things get out of control.
When stressed, your body’s overrun by cortisol hormone and this hormone forces your body to cling to fat. Talk to someone, write it out, meditate, journal your thoughts.
6.They are sleeping beauties;
Your body goes to recovery mode as you rest.
When sleep deprived, your hormones go out of whack and you end up craving sugar and carbs the next morning.
7.They cheat the system, not themselves.
Moderation is key. Don’t avoid any food. Treat yourself to a snack or two each week. Just know when and how to eat what.
8.They understand there’s more to life than alcohol.
Being carried away with drinking will only lead to overload of empty calories and excess sugar intake.
9. They don’t make excuses;
Set a bunch of healthy habits you swear by. Have a change of mindset and a willingness to show up for yourself.
10.They don’t worry about it
There are days when a cheat meal becomes a cheat day, and Netflix replaces gym. It happens. Ever day may not be glorious as the next but keep going despite your struggles.
